The volume of agricultural production in the North Kazakhstan in January-September 2013 increased by 11%.
According the regional statistics office, food production increased compared to January-September 2012 by 5%.The amount of production of processed liquid milk and cream increased by 75.4%, meat and edible by-products – by 18.3%, poultry meat – by 55.9%, fresh bread – by 5.7%.
The volume of gross agricultural production in the first nine months of this year amounted to 193.4 billion tenge (11% more than in January-September 2012), said the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”. It was sold for slaughter 70.1 thousand tons of all types of livestock and poultry in live weight (3.4% more than in January-September 2012), cow’s milk yield reached 383.7 thousand tons (by 5.1%), chicken eggs production grew to 384.9 million units (by 13.4%).
“The volume of retail sales for January-September 2013 amounted to 85.6 billion tenge, an increase compared to January-September 2012 of 30.1%, wholesale trade – 198.7 billion (by 11.9%). The scope of catering services in the reporting period amounted to 1.9 billion tenge (4.7% more)”, noted the statistics.
