CPF projects 50% revenue growth

Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) yesterday reported a 9% jump in its sales revenue and a 17% increase in its net profit for 2011.

The company’s revenue stood at THB 206 billion (USD 6.73 billion) while its net profit accounted for THB 15.8 billion (USD 517.8 million). CPF expects to see its revenue to grow by 50% this year, reaching THB 300 billion (USD 9.8 billion).

Its investments in China and Vietnam last year will drive this growth. Adirek Sripratak, President and CEO, said that the overseas operations and its ready meal business will also be key drivers of the business.

CPF currently has its operations in 12 countries and exports its products to more than 20 countries worldwide.
