East Kazakhstan: Grain decreased in price by almost 3% – Statistics

Fresh fruit and vegetables rose in price by 4.5 %, sugar – by 4.9%, salt – 2.2%, alcoholic beverages – by 5.5%, tobacco products – by 1.6%. Egg prices fell by 15.4%, sunflower oil – by 0.5%.

Sold by agricultural enterprises of the region crops became cheaper by 2.9%, livestock and poultry – by 1.8%; potato prices rose by 4.9%, vegetables – by 2.8%, raw milk – by 1.4%. Prices in the wholesale segment increased by 3.2 %, construction – 0.3%, transport – 1.5%; postal and courier services have risen by 28.6%.

It should be noted, according to monitoring conducted by the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”, at the beginning of March wheat of 3 grade in East Kazakhstan was sold for 37,300 tenge per ton ($ 204.84), barley – 31,500 tenge per ton ($ 172.99). Top-grade flour, first- and second-rates in East Kazakhstan cost 61,200 ($ 336.09), 58,300 ($ 320.16) and 53,900 tenge per ton ($ 296).
