The consumer price index in December 2012 compared to December 2011 in Astana was 106.2%. Food prices rose by 7.3%, non-food products – by 3.9%, paid services – by 7.1 %.
Thus, according to the Statistics Agency of the capital, in December 2012, the prices of fruits and vegetables increased by 5.5%, eggs – by 3%, sugar – by 2.3%, pasta – by 1.3%, oils and fats, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products – by 0.5%, dairy products, soft drinks – by 0.4%, meat – by 0.2%. At the same time, the price of rice has decreased – by 1.7%.
In the group of “pasta” noodles rose in price by 3.5%, spaghetti – by .3%, reported IA “Kazakh-Zerno”. From vegetables carrots, potatoes rose by 12.3%, cabbage – by 9.2%, tomatoes – by 8.5%, onion – by 7.3%, beet – by 5.7%, cucumbers – by 4 , 1%.
We should note that the living wage on average per capita, calculated based on the minimum standards of consumption of basic food products, in December 2012 compared with the previous month in Astana has increased by 0.5%, compared to December 2011 – by 9.5%.
