So, according to the regional department of agriculture, 5 million 225.3 thousand tons of grain was received in the region with an average yield of 12.5 q / ha this year.
As reported earlier by the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”, this year in the region the most part of the area – 4,192.8 thousand hectares, or 80.7% – was sown with grains and leguminous crops, 641.2 thousand hectares (12.3%) – with fodder crops, 351.3 thousand hectares (6.7%) – with oil crops, 8.9 thousand hectares (0.2%) – with potatoes, 2.8 thousand hectares (0.1%) – with vegetables and melons.
We recall, the gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops in weight after processing in Kostanay region in 2016 amounted to 4,535.9 thousand tons, oil crops – 215.5 thousand tons, potatoes – 185.2 thousand tons, vegetables – 76.8 thousand tons, fodder crops – 1,568.4 thousand tons.
