As of March 1, stocks of grain and leguminous crops in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 12.096 million tons, including. in peasant farms – 2.249 million tons. So, by early March, wheat was available in the amount of 9.906 million tons, of which 7.933 million tons of food, 1.326 million tons for seeds and more than 647,000 tons of forage wheat.
Furthermore, stocks of other crops by March 1, 2018 were as follows: maize – 93.338 thousand tons, rice – 213.222 thousand tons, barley – 1.250 million tons, rye – 26.291 tons, oats – 165.857 tons, buckwheat – 126.888 thousand tons, millet – 14.908 thousand tons, a mixture of cereals – 37.832 thousand tons.
