In Kazakhstan, food products increased in price by 7% for the year

In Kazakhstan, food prices in November 2017 compared to November 2016 grew by 7.1%, according to the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Thus, for the indicated period, prices for fruits and vegetables increased by 11.7%, confectionery products – by 10.6%, alcoholic drinks – by 10%, dairy products – by 9.6%, fish and seafood – by 8.9% %, bakery and flour products – by 8%, coffee, tea and cocoa – by 7.4%, bread – by 3.1%, flour – by 2.6%, pasta – by 2.2%, and sugar fell in price by 18.8%, cereals – by 14.4%, reports the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.

The increase in prices for meat and meat products amounted to 11.2%. In particular, prices for beef increased by 14.6%, lamb – by 13.2%, pork – by 9.1%, horse meat – by 9%, poultry meat – by 7.4%, sausages – by 7.1%.
