Food prices in November 2016 compared with November 2015 increased by 9.1%.
Thus, according to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the price of coffee, tea and cocoa increased by 34.6%, cereals – by 33.5%, bread – by 19.5%, sugar – by 18.7% , confectionery products – by 16.8%, oils and fats – by 12.7%, pasta – by 12.2%, bakeries and flour products – by 10.2%, fish and seafood – by 8.8% alcoholic beverages – by 8.6%, flour – by 7.3%, dairy products – by 6.8%, fruit and vegetables – by 0.9%.
The increase in prices for meat and meat products for the named period was 5.6%, reports the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”. The level of prices for poultry grew higher by 12.8%, sausage products – by 5.7%, beef – by 4.7%, pork – by 4.6%, mutton – by 2.9%, horse meat – by 2.1%.
