Food prices in Kazakhstan in February compared with the previous month increased by 1.5%, non-food prices – by1.9%, paid services – by 1.7%.
According to the report of the Statistics Agency, in the past month on average in the republic price increase noted in fresh vegetables by 13.5 %, potatoes – by 11.2% , sugar, cheese rennet – by 3.5%, cheese – by 3.1%, fresh fruit – by 3%, alcoholic beverages – by 2.5%, dairy products, butter – by 1.3%, pasteurized milk – by 1.2%, flour – by 1% pasta, tea – by 0.9%, semolina, oat groat – by 0.8%.
We recall, as previously reported the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”, on February 1, 2014, according to the Statistics Agency, in farms of Kazakhstan the amount of recorded stocks of cereals totaled 12,232,711 tons. In January during domestic consumption, export and loss of crops the volume in the country decreased by 1,484,801 tons, or 10.8%.
Price decreases was recorded for eggs by 7%, sunflower oil – by 0.5% , buckwheat – by 0.4%.
