Farmers of the southern and western regions of the country received 891.8 thousand tons of grain crops with an average yield of 17.1 q/ha.
“According to the regional departments of agriculture, as of July 31 this year, agricultural producers harvested 520.5 thousand hectares, or 41.4% of the harvested area of the regions; it was harvested 891.8 thousand tons; the average yield totaled 17.1 q/ha”, was stated in the summary of the Ministry of Agriculture.
It should be noted, at the same date last year grain harvest in Kazakhstan amounted to 612.3 thousand tons, writes the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
