Gross output (services) of products (services) in January, 2013 in Kazakhstan amounted to 64,659.1 million tenge. According to the Republican Statistics Agency, it is 1.4% less than in the corresponding period of 2012.
The decrease is due to lower livestock production by 1.4%, including 1.8% of all types of meat, wrote the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”. Such a decrease in GDP is the result of lower production in Aktobe and Kostanai regions.
In Aktobe region decreased the production of all types of meat by 16.9%, cow’s milk – by 14.6%, eggs – by 11.4%. The main reason for the decline of production in Kostanai region was the reduction in production of all types of meat by 17.9%.
Regarding the level of agricultural GDP in the past month the leaders were Almaty and South Kazakhstanian farmers whose indicators were at 10714.0 and 10397.2 mln. tenge respectively.
