Kazakhstan: Akmola farmers have cut more than 640 thousand tons of feed

Новость на Казах-зерно:

Akmola farmers this year plan to prepare a two-year supply of feed for livestock. Snowy winter and rainy spring and summer days contributed to the high grass stand, and local farmers are going to take advantage of this.

Farmers have already completed procurement plan by 41%, the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno” was informed in the department of agriculture.

To date, the local peasants cut about 640.3 thousand tons of feed.

2013 is much better than the past year, in all respects. As noted in the department, it was hard with the haymaking at that period, even though the region gained the required amount of feed.
