Kazakhstan and Armenia to cooperate in agricultural products supply

Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture held the fourth meeting of Kazakh-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, the Ministry’s press service said.

The Commission discussed the status and prospects of trade-economic relations, cooperation in the fields of business, agriculture, transport, healthcare, culture, tourism and science.

The sides agreed to study optimal routes for cargo transportation and expressed mutual interest in participation in investment projects in transport area. In addition, the issue of opening a direct flight Astana – Yerevan was considered.

Kazakhstan and Armenia agreed to cooperate in the supply of agricultural products on mutually beneficial terms and on an ongoing basis to share experiences in the agricultural complex sectors.

It was decided to hold the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in 2013 in Yerevan.
