Kazakhstan: Capital bins have about 40 tons of food grain

As of September 1st this year, grain market of Astana city had about 39,815 tons of grain, according to the official website of the capital.

It is noted that all the crops will be used for food purposes.

Basic grain consumed in the capital is wheat, which is 93.7% of the total grain for food use. The greatest amount of grain – 91.6% – is concentrated at the elevators of the city. At flour mills of the city 2,390 tonnes of wheat will be sent for processing.

Moreover, participants of the grain market at the moment have 2,088 tons of barley and 439 tons of rye.

IA “Kazakh-Zerno” recalls as of September 1st 2014, participants of the grain market of Astana had 30,822 tons of grain.
