Kazakhstan ends subsidies for grain exporters’ shipping charges

“Kazakhstan will stop to subsidize shipping costs of grain exporters from August 1, 2012,” Kazakh Minister of Agriculture A. Mamytbekov informed at the governmental teleconference.

According to him, today it is economically impractical. A. Mamytbekov informed that for 2011-2012 marketing year 12.1 million tons of grain was shipped for export taking into account flour in grain equivalent. It is 2.2 times more than during the same period of the last marketing year.
