The share of cash expenses of the residents of Almaty region for the purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages in the 2nd quarter of 2015 increased by 2.5% compared with the same period in 2014, for paid services by 1.5 percent, for non-food products decreased by 4.6 percent.
As noted in the regional department of statistics, of total volume of consumer spending in Q2 2015 for the purchase of food products population spent – 51.6%, non-foods – 26.7%, paid services – 21.7%, reports the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
In the total volume of expenditures for food the largest share accounted for meat and meat products – 16.2%, bread and cereal products – 7.2%, dairy products – 4.2%.
