The Kyzylorda region has hosted the forum of businessmen organized by the Nur Otan party regional branch.
Rice farmers support the proposal to the President, voiced in his «Social modernization of Kazakhstan: 20 steps to Universal Labour Society» article. One of the main instruments, taken into account is the diversification of agriculture. The Kyzylorda region implements a lot of new projects, in particular, the processing and production of rice in the form of the finished product, as well as the preparation of feed for livestock.
According to the businessman Abzal Yeraliyev, thanks to state support, he was able to correct the work of his company and at the same introduced advanced technologies into production. As a result, labour productivity is growing, and rice yields are becoming richer. Two plants in the Karaganda region are producing 120 tonnes of rice per day.
Entrepreneur Abzal Yeraliyev said: “Thanks to new technology, we produce high-quality and well-crafted rice. These two plants processed over 30 thousand tonnes of rice collected from 6 thousand hectares. The plant then supplies ready products, which is rice and fodder for cattle”.
At the forum, organized by the Kyzylorda branch of the Nur Otan parties, rice farmers were discussing technology of rice processing and improvement of farms. Farmers have pledged to send its full potential to perform new tasks defined in the article of the president.
Deputy Chairman of Kyzylorda Region Office of Nur Otan People’s Democratic Party Olmeskhan Bolatbekov: “We are not going to teach farmers how to work but show them how important is their role. Kyzylorda region’s rice farmers have expressed support and willingness to continue exerting all their strength to achieve their goals”.
85% of rice produced in Kazakhstan falls on the «Syr Darya Yantar». Last year, the country exported 45 tonnes of this rice to dozens of foreign countries. This year farmers planted rice on 75 hectares. Experts say that there are all prerequisites and enough water to receive a good harvest. Farmers will start harvesting rice on August 25th.
