At the beginning of October in Kazakhstan was harvested 84.6% of the sown area; the bins were filled up with 17 million 163.4 thousand tons of grain from the harvest-2013.
“According to the regional departments of agriculture, on October 1, of the current year agricultural producers harvested 13,326.6 thousand hectares, accounting for 84.6% of the harvested area of the regions. It was harvested 17,163.4 thousand tons; the average yield totaled 12.9 q/ha”, was said in the situation report of the Ministry of Agriculture.
It should be noted, at the same date last year, the country harvested 97.5% of the sown area, wrote the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”. With the yield of 9.1 q/ha, on 1 October, 2012 the country harvested 13 million 584.2 thousand tons of grain.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, today the bins were filled up with 1827.7 thousand tons of seeds (85.8%).
