The price index for agricultural products, sold by Kostanay citizens across all channels, in October 2013, compared to December 2012, amounted to 92.3%.
“Crop production, realized by agricultural enterprises, has become cheaper by 15.7%, animal – more expensive by 2.2%”, indicated the report of the regional statistics office.
Of the crop production sales prices of vegetables dropped by 28.8%, potatoes – by 19.3%, cereals – by 15.7%.
We recall, according to monitoring conducted by the IA “Kazakh-Zerno” at the beginning of this month the price of wheat 3 class reached the mark of 27,200 tenge per ton ($ 176.28), wheat with gluten above 27% costs 29,700 tenge ($ 192.48). Kostanay farmers offer barley of 2 grade at 24,600 tenge per ton ($ 159.43). The market value of all varieties of flour dropped: the top-grade – to 48,000 tenge ($ 314), 1st-rate in the region is trading at 45,000 tenge ($ 295).2-rate flour in Kostanay region is 42,500 tenge per ton ($ 278).
Saleы prices for the livestock and poultry (in live weight) became higher by 4.7%, raw milk – by 0.6 %, eggs – lower by 5.1%.
