Kazakhstan: Kostanay businessmen produced 2.4 times more yogurts

During ten months of 2013 Kostanay region compared with the same period in 2012 increased export volumes of milk and cream non-condensed by 63%, wrote the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.

This was announced at a meeting in the akimat of Kostanay region by the head of the department of agriculture of the akimat of Kostanay region Fedor Filippov.

“Fermented milk products and yoghurt production increased by 2.4 times, butter by 2 times, pastry goods by 29%. In the national volume of agricultural production for meat production the region occupies 9.7% (4th place), milk – 7.3% (5th place), eggs – 11.7% (5th place)”, he explained.
