In stubble fields of the region is observed an average of 23-30 mm of snow. On fall-plowed land there is 19-23 mm of snow. On complete fallow there is 18-22 mm of snow.
It should be noted that in early February last year, Kostanay farmers held snow retention on 1 million hectares of their land, which is 91 % of the planned areas.
