The volume of targeted transfers on crop production for farmers in Kostanay region in 2013 amounted to 6.8 billion tenge, wrote the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”. About this said the Deputy Mayor of Kostanay region Bazylev Zhakupov.
“It should be noted that this year agricultural producers of the region received considerable help from the government. For spring sowing and harvesting from the national budget was allocated 4.9 billion tenge of subsidies to reduce the cost of fuel, fertilizer, herbicides and seed business support. Further, from the national budget in the framework of the program “Agribusiness 2020″ to subsidize herbicides was allocated 1.8 billion tenge, which will ensure the payment of subsidies to agricultural producers for acquisition of herbicides in full volume”, he said.
According to him, the total amount of targeted transfers on crop production amounted to 6.8 billion tenge, which is 2.5 bln. more than last year.
“As of August 1, of the planned annual subsidies, 3.2 billion tenge were paid to households. This is 47% of the required volume. July’s volume in the amount of 2.8 billion tenge fully spent”, said the deputy akim of the area.
