Kazakhstan: Kostanay region produced 2.4 times more yogurts

During ten months of 2013 Kostanay region compared with the same period in 2012 increased export volumes of milk and non-condensed cream by 63%, wrote the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.

This was announced at a meeting in the akimat of Kostanay region by the head of the regional department of agriculture Fedor Filippov.

“Fermented milk products and yoghurt 2.4 times, butter 2 times, pastry goods by 29%. In the national volume of agricultural production the area occupies 9.7% in meat production (4th place), milk – 7.3% (5th place), eggs – 11.7% (5th place)”, he explained.
