Akmola growers brought the execution of the harvest plan up to 93%, thrashing over the weekend about 42 thousand hectares with grain. It was harvested 52 thousand tons. Before the completions of harvesting local farmers need to gather harvest from the area of about 286 thousand hectares, wrote the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
Harvested area in hectares is about 3 million 948.2 thousand. The average yield in fields has not changed – 12.3 q/ha.
The harvest of new crop is close to 4 million 840.5 thousand tons, which already exceeds the total figure of harvest in 2012 at 1,386 million tons.
For the same period last year, farmers had in their bins about 3 million 453.7 thousand tons of grain with its average yield of 8.4 q/ha.
Also landowners of the region completed procurement of seed material by 96%. Out of necessary 533.9 thousand tons farmers prepared 511.8 thousand.
