Pavlodar farmers announced about the completion of harvesting with a score of more than 249 tons of new grain, a correspondent of IA “Kazakh-Zerno” is informed in the regional department of agriculture.
Average yield on farmlands of Pavlodar region remained at the level of 5.3 quintals, compared to 12 q / ha last year.
Pavlodar farmers gave about 558 thousand hectares under cultivation of crops current agricultural year, about 90 hectares of which were not suitable for the harvesting.
The drought has destroyed about 13% of cultivated areas with crops that is the highest index in the region from 2008. The total harvested grain in 2012 – 249.9 thousand tons.
Recall that last year grain yield was 453.5 thousand tons in the Pavlodar region.
