Kazakhstan: Prices for buckwheat, meat and milk fell down in March

In Kazakhstan prices for a number of food products as well as for production of processing industry and oil products fell down in March, according to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy.

The decline in prices was observed for buckwheat groats by 5.6%, rye flour – by 4.9%, meat – by 2.5%, poultry meat – by 2.4%, vegetable oil – by 2%, dairy products and sugar – by 0.7%, fish – by 0.6%,” the report says.

Also, according to the Committee, in processing industry the decline in prices occurred in general by 0.5%. In this case, prices for precious metals decreased by 2.8%, for aluminum – by 1.4%.

In addition was recorded the decrease in prices for residuum fuel oil by 4%, diesel fuel – by 2.6%, informed the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
