The gross output of the agricultural products decreased by more than half in Kostanay region.
This is the result of this year’s drought. Gross output of agricultural (services) products in January-October, 2012 at current prices amounted to 149,072.9 million tenge. This is less than in January-October, 2011 by 53.1%, said in the regional statistics office.
Gross output of plant industry totaled 78,273.4 million tenge, or 37.3% compared to January-October, 2011.

For slaughter was sold 130.9 thousand tons of all livestock and poultry in live weight (January-October 2011. – 76.9%), cow’s milk production 307.1 thousand tons (55.5%), chicken eggs obtained 437.6 million (93.8%).
