Kazakhstan: The number of agricultural cooperatives grows

In Kyzylorda region have stepped up work on the creation of agricultural production cooperatives. Since the beginning of this year has already created 73 agricultural cooperatives, united 324 small-scale industries. This facilitates the access of farmers and subsidies to the state, and to credit.

Regional investment center “Kyzylorda” in conjunction with the Chamber of entrepreneurs launched the pilot project “micro-Kyzylorda”, writes the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno“. Today already implemented 92 projects worth more than 591 million tenge, created 400 new jobs.

Particular emphasis here is on the use of the potential of private farms and the development of agricultural cooperatives on the basis of their meat and dairy.

By the way, one and a half years of the regional investment center financed 148 projects in rural areas of almost 1 billion tenge. Mostly (70 percent) is a start-up businesses. As a result, the village created about 600 new jobs.
