There are many problems in livestock industry. First of all, no one wants to go to work to village.
There are 150 heads of cattle, about 200 horses and 900 sheeps. “The livestock is subsidized now. It can not develop itself”- farmers say.
Farmers are not satisfied with the price on imported cattle. They buy it for $5000, feed them, take care of them. But then their productivity falls and therefore the price of meat is equated with the ordinary cattle. This acquisition of farmers consider overhead because it takes much money.
In the LP “Oksanovka” the situation is even more difficult. There is no a veterinarian. “We are focused on the development of livestock industry, and it is very hard to involve expert to the village”.
In the farm “Kara Naiza” believe, “We need to develop infrastructure, provide good conditions for people to want to work in the village.”
