Kazakhstan’s carryover stockpiles of wheat will be a record at the end of the current season, according to Zhanna Baitemirova, head of research at KazAgroMarketing.
Stockpiles are 13.5 million tons now, down from 14 million metric tons on March 1, Baitemirova said on Thursday at a grain conference in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. She didn’t provide a forecast for the end of the marketing year on June 30, Bloomberg says.
