Thousands of young professionals have landed jobs in the Kostanai region over four years of implementing the «Young professionals go to villages» programme.
Graduates of the Kostanai State University will receive their degrees in a few weeks. Not only students but also employers in rural areas look forward to this event. Each year, the staff of rural schools, hospitals and recreation centres are joined by dozens of young specialists under the program. The current campaign was organised by university executives and the Ministry of Agriculture. Graduates who have already worked in rural areas for several years now spoke about the advantages of starting a career in the countryside, including loans and benefits as part of «The future starts today» state programme. Four years of implementing the program has demonstrated the viability of this social project.
Farming Department Expert in Kazakh Ministry of agriculture Aituar Shayev: «More than 18,700 professionals are planning to go to villages this time in order to live and work there. These are specialists in the areas of healthcare, sports as well as social workers. Over 21 billion tenge will be included in the budget within the program for 2012-2014, which means 70 monthly calculation indices for each specialist».
