The harvesting campaign in the region covered about 212.8 hectares of local farmland, accounting for 95.3% of the plan. The average grain yield in the region – 18.4 q / ha, which is two times higher than the harvest of grain last year, wrote the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
According to the regional department of agriculture, the average grain yield for the same period last year was 9.2 q / ha, and it was threshed 182.7 thousand tons. As of today, growers harvested 392.4 thousand tons of new grain. This is more than two times higher. And at that time last year, farmers have almost finished harvesting.
We recall, that in 2012 as a result of harvesting, winter wheat and spring crops have put about 201 thousand tons into the regional reserve of the country.
