Kazakhstani producers have lowered the price of wheat flour by 2.2 percent

In January 2018, compared with December 2017, the prices of manufacturing enterprises in the mining industry increased by 0.4 percent, processing – by 2.6 percent. Prices for industrial products grew higher by 0.9 percent, services of industrial nature – by 6.3 percent, according to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The increase in producer’s prices was observed for tea by 2.2 percent, vegetable oil – by 1.9percent, dairy products – by 1.1 percent, rice – by 0.5 percent.

Statisticians fixed a decrease in price for wheat flour by 2.2 percent, cereals – by 1.4 percent, sugar – by 1.2 percent.

We recall, as previously reported the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”, barley rose in price by more than 11 percent, wheat declined in price by 3.4 percent in 2017.

In particular, according to statistical data, over the past year, corn prices have increased by 13.1 percent, barley – by 11.7 percent, rye – by 10.4 percent, oats – by 5.8 percent, rice – by 2.9 percent, millet – by 2.4 percent. And buckwheat decreased in price by 10.4 percent, wheat – by 3.4 percent.
