As of June 1, in the Kostanay region, the availability of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 1,033,546 tons, which is less 36 percent less than at the same date of 2018, reported in the statistics department.
The balance of wheat in the region amounted to 920,109 tons, barley – 75,918 tons, oats – 18,516 tons, millet – 693 tons, cereals mixture – 1,094 tons, buckwheat – 1,234 tons, corn (maize) – 302 tons, rye – 35 tons.
At the beginning of the month, the availability of food grains of all grain and leguminous crops was 848,632 tons, which is 34 percent less than in the same period of 2018.
The availability of food wheat in the region amounted to 807,938 tons, barley – 21,914 tons, oats – 5,473 tons, buckwheat – 873 tons, millet – 378 tons, corn (maize) – 130 tons, rye – 35 tons.
As “KazakhZerno.kz” NA previously reported, according to statistical data, in 2018, the gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops in weight after processing in Kostanay region amounted to 4,682.3 thousand tons, oilseeds – 355.4 thousand tons, potatoes – 188.6 thousand tons, vegetables – 75.5 thousand tons, fodder crops – 1,446.4 thousand tons.
