Rice growers the village of Tanzhalagash district of Kyzylorda region went to Krasnodar to acquire elite seeds.
“For the past three years, rice growers of the region have received high yields,” said director of “Tan” LLP Imamzada Shagyrtayev. – One of the components of this success is the use of seeds of high reproduction. Large farms of the region use only them.
In 2017, 100 million tenge was allocated from the regional budget funds for the purchase of 333 tons of elite rice seeds through the “Agroholding Baikonyr” LLP in the Krasnodar Territory, which were multiplied in seed farms, the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno” said.
In 2018, the farms will provide rice growers with rice seeds of first reproduction. Thanks to the strain renovation and variety changing in 2017, 100 percent of rice was sown with high-yielding seeds.
