Whether because of severe frosts or because of an irresistible desire to sell bread at better price, but the situation with grain prices caused the stop of the market, traders said. Mills due to the lack of “new” raw material put into circulation reserve of export grain, wrote the correspondent of IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
“We planned to start using the grain that we have at the elevators only next spring, and solely for export”, explained in the LLC “Dikanshi”.
Plans did not materialize. Because of the lack of raw materials in order to avoid delay, the company had to “use” the export reserve.
Flour manufacturers believe that because of severe frosts, no one can bring grain. Thus, the price starts to rise. And, most likely, a similar situation persists across the region.
According to manufacturers, current pricesare useless. “The market is not working. Trading is halted. Prices rise, but there is no sense in this, because nobody will buy grain at such price”, explained in the LLC “Ali-Sa”.
