“Kazakhstan is the largest market where Nestle sales double annually. We intend to strengthen our position here,” Stuart Irvine, CEO of Nestle Russia and Eurasia, told journalists during the meeting in Almaty the other day.

Mr. Irvine summed up results of company’s activity in the region in 2011. The sales increased for 10 per cent in comparison with the last year, in Kazakhstan alone sales growth made 20 per cent. CEO of Nestle Russia and Eurasia underlined that the food giant had been developing its business in Kazakhstan for more than 15 years.

Mark Pothast, General Director of Nestle Eurasia, spoke of big events for the company in 2011. “Last year we introduced new products to the market. They had met tastes and expectations of consumers and that strengthened our positions in key categories,” he stressed.

Last year Nestle offered its clients new coffee drinks, chocolate, new MAGGI and other delicious products.

Summing up the results of the meeting, Mark Pothast said the company had achieved great success in Kazakhstan thanks to its ability to respond to ever-changing conditions at the market, good knowledge of consumers’ needs, tastes and expectations, high quality of products and professional approach of the staff. “But we will not stop on what has already been achieved. We face the future with confidence and are to continue our successful development,” he added.
