North Kazakhstan: Farmers have written off more than 64 hectares of their farmlands this year

Dry summer had less effect on the farmlands of North Kazakhstan growers this year. But it has not done without the death of plants, and, according to the regional data, local farmers had to write off 64 thousand 151 ha this year, the correspondent of IA “Kazakh-Zerno” reported.

Partial loss of crops was fixed at 3,196 hectares. Complete death of seedlings observed at 57,255 hectares. Moreover, a large portion of this area is planted with cereals.

Most of all drought affected farms in Tayinshinsky district. Here, 31,841 ha were written-off.

To a lesser extent drought touched agricultural fields of Ualikhanovsky, Aiyrtausky, Akzharsky, Timiryazevsky and district named after G.Musrepov and M. Zhumabayev.
