As of September 19, in North Kazakhstan grains were mowed, according to the Department of Agriculture, on the area of more than 2 million 450 thousand hectares – it is more than 68%. Farmers threshed 2 million 16 thousand; it was harvested 2,719,000 tons.
The average yield is 13.5 q/ ha. Compared with the previous year the figure is higher.
It should be noted, at the same date last year in the region from 87.6% of the area with the yield of 11.9 q / ha was obtained 3 million 994.5 thousand tons of grain, said the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
Currently, Kyzylzharsky, Mamlyutsky and Akkayynsky areas are the leaders in grain harvesting. High rates for threshing of grain are observed in Yesilsky, Akkayynsky, Mamlyutsky and Ualikhanovsky. A decent crop has grain growers in the M.Zhumabayev, Kyzylzharsky and Aiyrtausky areas.
Lowest figures are indicated in Timiryazevsky and Shal akyn districts. From a hectare local farmers harvest only 10-11 quintals.
Oilseeds are mowed on the area of 191 thousand hectares, 43.5%. It is harvested more than 41 thousand hectares. The average yield is 10.9 quintals.
