Nursultan Nazarbayev has recently visited a number of facilities in Taraz. One of them was an enterprise constructed as part of the industrialization programme.
The Amangeldy production cooperative is a very successful project in the region and the president paid a visit there. The head of state examined greenhouses for planting cucumbers, lettuce and cabbage both for the Zhambyl region and the entire country.
Director of Amangeldy production cooperative Kassymkhan Kanayev: “We have invested 323 million tenge in this enterprise and according to our calculations it will pay for itself within 2.5-3 years. It is a very beneficial programme. The financial support fund has given us a loan for 9 years at 6% annually and we are planning to pay back the loan within 2.5-3 years.”
