ZIKSTO JSC established production of freight wagons in North Kazakhstan region within the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development.
The enterprises signed an agreement on supply of 200 grain hopers with “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” company in 2012. Designed models of the freight wagons meet all of the requirements for rolling stock of the CIS and Baltic countries.
It is worth noting that this type of wagons is not produced in Kazakhstan. Development prototypes of the wagons were issued compliance certificates of the Russian Certification Register. These models were included into the register of the information computing center of the railway administrations of the CIS and Baltic states.
Implementation of this project will allow to supplement the wagon fleet of Kazakhstan with a new model of wagons, reduce the dependence on suppliers of wagons from the other countries. the design capacity of the enterprises is 400 grain hoppers per year.
