A single grain holding will be established in Kazakhstan. It will be merged into JSC “Prodcorporation”, Vice Minister of Agriculture Muslim Umiryayev announced while presenting a draft law “On amendments to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on the issues of regulation of grain market” in the Majilis on Thursday.
“On the instruction of the Kazakh President, the Ministry of Agriculture developed a concept on establishing a single grain holding. The concept was presented to the Government and will be considered by the State Commission on Economy Modernization”, the Vice Minister noted.
According to him, the holding company will be created in the form of a consortium, which will include big grain producers and small agricultural producers, reported the IA “Kazakh-Zerno” with the reference to “KAZINFORM”.
