South Kazakhstan farmers plan to harvest from rice fields not less than 14 thousand tons, sais the correspondent of IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
The harvesting campaign is 60% completed. The sowing of rice this year was started after cotton. That is why the harvest also started later.
As of today, harvest covered 2 thousand ha from the total 3.3 thousand ha. Rice growers have 12 thousand tons of new harvest in their bins.
We remind, the cotton harvest continues in the area. As of today, growers have collected 378 thousand tons.
