Monthly indicators of egg production in comparison with previous years, as noted in the Statistics Agency, grow. For example, over the past month egg production exceeds the level of February 2013 by 7%, wrote the correspondent of the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
It is worth recalling that in January of this year, in comparison with the same period in 2013, an increase in egg production by 10%.
So, in February egg production reached 264.7 million pieces, which generally exceeds the data for the same period last year by 19.3 thousand. For the first two months in the republic were produced 545.2 million eggs.
It should be noted that, as of March 1, the number of poultry in Kazakhstan amounted to 34.5 million heads, which is 1.2 million more than on the same date last year.
We recall that in 2013 egg production in the republic reached 3567.2 million pieces, which is 5.6% higher compared with the same period in 2012.
