According to the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, on February 1, 2013 the country kept 11 million 131 thousand 312 tons of wheat, much of which is still in warehouses and elevators of CRP – more than 6.2 million tons, writes the correspondent of IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.
Agricultural enterprises can keep about 25% of the total volume of wheat – 2 million 882 thousand 685 tons. Farm households and private farms store 1 million 196 thousand 793 tons of grain. A little less is on mills – 790 thousand 25 tons.
From the available wheat stocks for seeds is prepared 1 million 506 thousand 314 tons, for feed is stored 228.7 thousand tons. The remaining 9 million 396 thousand 291 tons – food grain, specified in the Statistics Agency.
We remind, on January 1 of this year, the country’s warehouses store 12 million 166.3 thousand tons of wheat.
Today, there are 12 million 408 thousand 677 tons of cereals and legumes in Kazakhstan.
