Tomatoes and cucumbers on the counters of Astana rose in price by almost 40%

Statisticians of Astana in the last month of the past year recorded a rise in price of eggs, vodka and dairy products. Tomatoes and cucumbers on the counters of the capital rose almost twice.

In particular, as it was indicated in the statistical report, in December, the increase in prices in Astana was registered for eggs by 8.7%, black tea – by 1.1%, vodka – by 1%, oatmeal – by 0.8%, cottage cheese – by 0.7%, sour cream – by 0.6%, chicken legs – by 0.4%, kefir – by 0.3%, reports the IA “Kazakh-Zerno.”

At the same time, sugar fell in price by 6.2%, vegetable oil – by 2%, buckwheat – by 1.7%, millet – by 0.8%, beef – by 0.1%.

From vegetables, tomatoes rose by 39.4%, cucumbers – by 36.1%, potatoes – by 3.3%, onion – by 2.9%, beet – by 2.5%, carrot – by 0.9%.
