Wheat flour decreased in price in the East Kazakhstan

The consumer price index in the East Kazakhstan region, which characterizes the inflation rate, for November compared to the previous month amounted to 100.8%, by December 2016 – 106.4%.

As noted in the statistics department, among food products in November this year compared with October an increase in prices was recorded for cheeses, cottage cheese, kefir, pearl barley by 1.4%, millet – 0.2%, baby food, sausages and meat products – 0.3%, bakery and flour confectionery products – by 0.7%, carcasses – by 0.5%, canned fish – by 0.3 – 1.1%, seafood – by 3.8%, milk raw – by 2.6%, pasteurized – by 1.3% and ultra-pasteurized – by 0.6%, sour cream – by 0.6%, eggs – by 13.4%, butter unsalted butter – by 1.2%, margarine – by 1.5%, confectionery products – by 0.9%, mayonnaise sauces – by 1.6%, ketchups – 0.8%, coffee – 2.4%, mineral water – 1.0%, fruit and vegetable juices – 0.6%, alcoholic beverages – by 0.7%, tobacco products – by 0.6%.

Prices for wheat bread from flour of 1st grade decreased by 0.3%, wheat flour of 1st grade – by 1.1%, cereals – by 1.9%, buckwheat – by 9.8%, oatmeal – by 2.4% , pasta – by 0.7%, granulated sugar – by 2.6%, refined sugar – by 0.5%, salt – by 1.7%, reports the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.

Of fruit and vegetable products, prices increased by 3.0% for apples, for grapes – by 4.8%, for bananas – by 8.7%, for oranges – by 4.1%, for lemons – by 0.5%, for pears- by 3.5%, fresh cabbage – by 17.6%, cucumbers – by 12.6%, tomatoes -by 18.7%, beets -by 8.1%, sweet pepper -by 44.3%, canned corn – by 0.9%. Onion became cheaper by 2.1%, carrots – by 1.0%, potatoes – by 7.4%, dry peas – by 2.3%.

“Compared with the same month last year, there is a slowdown in inflation in the region,” according to the statistical report.
